December 6th, Salon - University Foundation, Brussels

Ethics & Research

An evening with Marc Van Montagu & Gie Goris

As Brussels’ universities we strive for a collective project in service of our society but never wavering our humanistic values. A scientific and intellectual project that focuses on societal challenges and actively participates in the socio-societal debates.

One year after VUB was shaken on its ethical foundations we grasp the opportunity to reflect on the subject of Integrity and Ethics in academic and private research, together with our sister university ULB.

At the Brussel Salon “Ethics & Research”, Gie Goris, editor in chief of MO* magazine will have an open conversation with Molecular Biologist Prof. dr. Marc Van Montagu about ethics, research & responsibility.
